Doctor of Audiology

Dr. Herrin has experience in adult and pediatric diagnostic audiological evaluations, newborn hearing screenings, adult vestibular function evaluations, adult and pediatric hearing aid evaluations and fittings.  She strives to focus on assisting the patient to never miss another moment in the life. It is her goal to identify the areas in which the patient is struggling to hear and provide treatment options that will best suit their listening lifestyle.

SunGate’s audiological services offer state-of-the-art equipment for evaluating hearing, bilateral and unilateral hearing loss diagnosis, accessories compatible with television and mobile devices, custom hearing protection devices and more!

Before beginning to practice audiology in 2013, Dr. Herrin graduated from East Carolina University where she obtained a Bachelor’s of Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She completed her medical school at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and earned her Doctorate of Audiology. Prior to joining the SunGate team as the clinical audiologist, she was a clinical audiologist with Dr. Hecker and Associates in Newport News, Virginia.  She also holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.
